Abstract
Medical hypnosis in combination with local anaesthesia is an efficient method in surgical procedures in Dermatology. It can succesfully be used to achieve a sufficient local anaesthesia and to reduce the patients anxiety during operative procedures. Not only patients benefit from medical hypnosis but it also aids physicians in carrying out their procedures.
